This is a complete Cisco CCNA/CCENT Lab kit, fully configured and tested! It meets the equipment requirements for the Lab Exercises given in the CiscoPress® CCNA Exploration Books.
Therefore, with this Lab you'll have a clear path to follow! It includes the following five Main Components:
- R1: 2610 Router 32D/8F with 1 Serial Port + 1 Ethernet Port - R2: 2610 Router 32D/8F with 1 Serial Port + 1 Ethernet Port - R3: 2610 Router 32D/8F with 2 Serial Ports (Frame/Relay Switch) + 1 Ethernet Port - S1: 2900 Switch (12 Fast Ethernet Ports) - S2: 2900 Switch (12 Fast Ethernet Ports)
Note: Picture shows one 2900-12 & one 2950-24. But this Lab actually includes 2 x 2900-12. However, either 2900 (or both) can be upgraded to 2950!
Please notice that we offer several different upgrade options. For instance, you can add one more Serial Port to R1 and R2 (some of the Lab Exercises do require a second Serial Port). All Serial Ports are implemented with WIC-T1 (WIC-1DSU-T1) cards (1.544 Mbps T1)
Other available upgrade options include:
- 2900's can be upgraded to 2950 with either Standard or Enhanced Image (2950C or 2950T) - 2610's can be upgraded to Max. Memory (64D/16F) so that they can load the latest IOS 12.4.25 and allow functions like VLAN Trunking! - 2610's can also be upgraded to 2620, 2650, or 2610XM/2620XM (2650 supports up to 128D/32F and XM Routers up to 256D/48F) - or you may simply add additional pieces (Routers or Switches) to this Lab.
- 1 Console Cable - 2 Serial Crossover Cables (for WIC-T1 cards) - 2 Cat-5 Ethernet Straight Cables - 2 Cat-5 Ethernet Crossover Cables - 2 CD's (one with Training Videos & one with other Training Materials) - 5 Power Cables
This Lab comes with complete Setup Instructions, so you won't have to wonder what to do next. It includes a very unique feature: a Frame Relay Switch so that you can gain a TOTAL understanding of the Frame Relay technology!
