Therefore, with this Lab you'll have a clear path to follow! It includes the following five Main Components:
- R1: 2620XM Router 128D/32F with 1 Serial Port (WIC-1T card) + 1 Fast E. Port, IOS 12.4.25 - R2: 2620XM Router 128D/32F with 1 Serial Port (WIC-1T card) + 1 Fast E. Port, IOS 12.4.25 - R3: 250X Router with 2 Serial Ports Frame/Relay Switch (can be upgraded to 4 Serial Ports) - S1: 2950 Switch (24 Fast Ethernet Ports) - S2: 2950 Switch (24 Fast Ethernet Ports)
Note: We offer several different upgrade options.
For instance, you can add one more Serial Port to R1 and R2 (some of the Lab Exercises do require a second Serial Port).
Switches S1 & S2 (2950's with Standard Image) can also be upgraded to 2950C or 2950T (come with Enhanced Image).
Routers R1 & R2 (2620XM's) can be upgraded to 2650XM's. The 2650XM offers several advantages such as more processing power and the ability to run MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) commands.

For instance, if you are not very familiar with the IOS upgrade procedure (or an initial IOS load), then you'll find complete instructions for that. Or if you need a complete interpretation of the output of certain commands, you'll find that here.
