A Terminal or Access Server lets you gain access to different devices from a single monitor station.
The 2511 comes with 16 ASYNC Ports, which are combined in a couple of SCSI connectors.
Thus, you can gain access up to 16 different devices.
NOTE: 2 x Octal Cables are required (not included)
An Octal Cable is a Cable with 8 Legs, with a SCSI connector at one end and RJ-45 connectors at the end of each Leg
The 2511 also includes one Ethernet Port with AUI Port. This AUI Port requires an AUI to RJ-45 adapter, which is not included but it is available.
However, this adapter is not really necessary, because the 2511 can be accessed through its Console Port and from it you can access all of the other devices in your kit.
NOTE: This 2511 will be shipped Fully configured and ready to use!
