This is a Cisco 3725 Router with 256 Mb. in DRAM and 128 Mb. in Flash, configured with CME/CCM 4.2 (Cisco Call Manager) and SDM 2.5 (Security Device Manager) and loaded with the latest compatible IOS available for it: 12.4.11.XW7 Adv. Enterprise Services (12.4.11.XW is needed to run CME 4.2)
The Cisco 3725 offers superior performance (compared to XM Routers) and it supports either CME 4.1 or CME 4.2 (XM Routers only support CME 4.1). The 3725 supports up to 144 IP Phones (either SIP Phones or SCCP Phones) and up to 500 Virtual Ports!
A Bonus CD is included with this Router! CD includes both Software elements (SDM 2.5 & CCM/CME 4.1) and other applications such as Cisco IP Communicator 7.0 and Cisco IP SoftPhone 1.3(4a), as well as many IP Phone Firmware (see below for details). The CD also includes other IOS Images for this platform, such as 12.4.25d and 12.4.15.T14 Adv. Enterprise Services (see below for details).
Note: IOS 12.4.11.XW7 is required to run CME 4.2. IOS 12.4.15.T is needed for CME 4.1. CD also includes the following Software:
- Cisco IP Communicator 7.0
- Cisco IP SoftPhone 1.3(4a)
- IP Phone Firmware (for almost all IP Phones)

CME 4.2 on a 3725 offers multiple advantages over CME 4.1 on XM Routers such as the 2651XM. These are the main advantages of a 3725:
- Superior performance when compared to XM Routers
- Support of up to 144 IP Phones (only 48 phones on the 2651XM and only 36 on the 2621XM)
- Support of up to 500 Virtual Ports (only 108 V/P on the 2651XM and only 72 on the 2621XM)
- Capable of running both: CME 4.1 & 4.2 (XM Routers only run CME 4.1)

SDM 2.5 is loaded on this Router! Since this Router has 128 Mb. in Flash, it has enough room to install both Applications, both of which are included in an accompanying CD!
Finally, Cisco IP Communicator 7.0 & Cisco IP SoftPhone 1.3(4a) are also included! In short, this is the Cisco Software included in the CD:
