Price: $1,599.99
Prod. Code: CCNP-Adv

This is a complete CCNP Lab that matches the equipment requirements for exercises given in the Cisco Press CCNP Lab Portfolio Books:

- CCNP Exam 642-901 BSCI (Building Scalable Internetworks) Lab Portfolio
- CCNP Exam 642-812 BCMSN (Building Multilayer Switched Networks) Lab Portfolio
- CCNP Exam 642-825 ISCW (Implementing Secured Converged WANs) Lab Portfolio
- CCNP Exam 642-845 ONT (Optimizing Converged Networks) Lab Portfolio

In other words, with this Lab you can do exercises for ALL of your Cisco CCNP exams!

This Lab includes a Terminal Server Router: a 2509 with 8 Asycn ports for easy access to the different devices. The respective Octal cable is also included.

To meet the CCNP Lab Requirements given in the CiscoPress Lab Portfolio Books, this Lab is composed of 5 Routers and 4 Switches. Please check the pictures to see the Network Topology for both, LAN and WAN.

All 2600XM Routers in this CCNP Lab package come with 128 Mb. in RAM and 32 Mb. in Flash and come loaded with the latest IOS 12.4.25a Adv. Enterprise Services! We also offer several other CCNP packages, with downgraded elements to fit your budget needs.

Actually, the Lab layout shown here, is the one typically being used by most Cisco Networking Academies! Therefore, this Lab is ideal for those who are already attending classes at these Academies. It works well for those attending CCNA & CCNP classes!

Although this Lab may be a little bit advanced for CCNA students, it is a great investment if you are planning to take your career goals beyond your CCNA!

Here is the list of main components:

- 2 x 2950 Switches (DLS1 - DLS2) with 24 FE Ports (can be upgraded to 3550-24 for L2/L3 functionality)
- 2 x 2950 Switches (ALS1 - ALS2) with 24 FE Ports (can be upgraded to 2950/3550)
- 1 x 2611 Router 64D/16F with 2 Ethernet Ports. Provides Routing to DLS switches!
- 3 x 2620XM Routers (R1, R2 & R4) with 128 Mb./32 Mb. with 2 Ethernet Ports and 2 Serial Ports each (NM-1E card for second Ethernet Port)
- 1 x 2621XM Router (R3) with 128 Mb./32 Mb. with 2 FE Ports and 4 Serial Ports (NM-4A/S card)
- 1 x 2509 Terminal Server (access up to 8 devices)

This Lab includes all of the Network Cards, Cables (Serial, Ethernet, Power, etc.) and other accessories needed to do the Lab exercises in the Cisco Press books mentioned above.

- 3 x WIC-2T (2 Serial Ports each) for R1, R2 & R4
- 1 x NM-4A/S Module (4 Serial Ports) for R3
- 5 Serial Cables
- 12 Crossover Ethernet Cables
- 12 Straight Ethernet Cables
- 10 Power Cables
- 1 x Octal Cable

Note: Picture shows an upgraded version of this Lab with 2 x 3550 + 2 x 2950 Switches.

3550 Switches are L3 Switches, capable of doing Routing functions. But they are very expensive. Fortunately, the Routing function can be easily implemented with an external Router. Therefore, we are using a 2611 Router (R0) to implement the Router-on-a-Stick function. This provides external routing capabilities to the DSL Switches. However, you can also add a 3550 upgrade if you wish.

Optional Components:

- Relay Rack to mount all pieces in a Rack
- Mounting Brackets

With this Lab we provide two valuable CD's with tons of Training Materials, which should keep you very busy for months!

CD1: includes hundreds of exam-like Questions (with their proper Answers and Explanations) for many Cisco exams (CCNA: 640-802, 640-816, 640-822 - CCNP: 642-812, 642-825, 642-845, 642-901 and many more!). It also includes dozens of articles and eBooks for most almost every topic that you'll find in your exams. Finally, it includes Cisco Software such as several IOS Images and SDM! (Security Device Manager).

CD2: includes dozens of training videos for several CCNA/CCNP related topics such as LAN Switching, VLANs, Trunking, SDM, WAN (Serial) Links, Frame Relay, Static Routing, Dynamic Routing Protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), MPLS, Router Security, etc.

As mentioned above, in this Lab Router R3 - which comes with 4 Serial ports - has a dual function, because it doubles as a Frame Relay Switch for the Lab exercises where a 4-ports Frame Relay Switch is needed. This includes exercises for Frame Relay with Hub & Spoke configurations.

This is actually one of the most unique features of this Lab! With this Lab we provide a complete set of Frame Relay exercises, that without a doubt, will give you a TOTAL understanding of the Frame Relay technology!

Here is the list of the 21 different Frame Relay configuration scenarios included with our Lab:

1. Frame-Relay Back-to-Back (no Frame Switch)
2. Frame-Relay Inverse-ARP
3. Frame-Relay Static Mapping
4. Frame-Relay Inverse-ARP & Static Mappings
5. Frame-Relay Multipoint Interfaces: Inverse-ARP
6. Frame-Relay Multipoint Interfaces: Static Mappings
7. Frame-Relay Multipoint Interfaces: Inverse-ARP & Static Mappings
8. Frame-Relay Point-to-Point (P-to-P) Subinterfaces
9. Frame-Relay P-to-P Subinterfaces and Main Interfaces: Inverse-ARP
10. Frame-Relay P-to-P Subinterfaces and Main Interfaces: Static Mappings
11. Frame-Relay P-to-P Subinterfaces and Multipoint Subinterfaces: Inverse-ARP
12. Frame-Relay P-to-P Subinterfaces and Multipoint Subinterfaces: Static Mapping
13. Frame-Relay Multipoint Subinterface, Inverse-ARP and Main Interface, Inverse-ARP
14. Frame-Relay Multipoint Subinterface, Inverse-ARP and Main Interface, Static Mapping
15. Frame-Relay Multipoint Subinterface, Static Mapping and Main Interface, Inverse-ARP
16. Frame-Relay Multipoint Subinterface, Static Mapping and Main Interface, Static Mapping

20. Frame-Relay Hub-and-Spoke, Main Interfaces with Inverse-ARP & Point-to-Point Subinterfaces
21. Frame-Relay Hub-and-Spoke, Main Interfaces with Static Mappings & Point-to-Point Subinterfaces

Again, this is a unique feature! You won't find this anywhere else!
